The time for action on sustainability is now and Sustainable Development Lab is a gateway to acquire competencies and learning for the future.

Sustainable Development Lab offers a framework, where students learn to address sustainability challenges in a holistic, change-oriented and transformative way. By working interdisciplinarily on the grand challenges of tomorrow — and engaging in partnerships with public and private stakeholders — students develop the skills needed to navigate and act within complex systems from both local and global perspectives.

The Lab is inspired by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), which aims to raise aweress about the complexity and dynamism of issues as well making sustainable development understood and applied in a concrete way. This initiative helps to develop the capacity for critical reflection and systemic and futures thinking, as well as to motivate actions that promote sustainable development.
